A design competition was set up for proposals for Reuters Plaza and Six Public Clocks was the winning design. This playful installation is based on the iconic Swiss railway clock; however, each face only has one numberal and they are all set to the same time. German designer Grcic is better known for his furniture and product design, which is both modernist and elegant.
