For the last thirty years, Bill Culbert has worked in neon and other light media to transform objects and spaces.  The bright neon of Coup de Foudre appears like a series of hand-drawn lines in the air, apparently weightless and spontaneous. The title literally means ‘lightning strike’ but is also an expression denoting falling in love. By day and night, these exuberant lines can be seen from above and below, extending through the space inside and outside the building.
