Field Art Projects work both as consultants and curators.  We help to create extraordinary site-specific works, using our knowledge and skills to bring to life a client's brief.

We offer:
  • Creativity:  We have worked in all areas of the producing spectrum.  This means that we approach projects with the knowledge and problem-solving abilities gained not only by commissioning, but also curating and consulting.  We bring this to bear when writing strategy documents, briefs and feasibility studies.
  • Practicality:  We don't just offer advice, we also get stuck into the nuts and bolts of producing.  This ranges from sorting out contracts to supervising the on-site delivery of a piece.  We are qualified to handle all aspects of a commission if required, acting as project managers as well as commissioners.
  • Expertise:  We have worked with countless artists and companies over the years.  We pride ourselves on finding the right artists and individuals for the job, be it a festival, exhibition or commission.  We can also recommend artists whose work is suitable for a private or public collection.
  • Understanding:  We want to ensure that what we produce fits completely with the client's brief and delivers the desired outcome.  To this effect we seek to engage and consult not only with the client but also the intended audience as well as specific user groups.
  • Consideration:  We understand the importance of proper evaluation that starts at the outset of a project and runs throughout the delivery process.  Where possible we like to review our work months or even years after it is completed.
